Westchester County, NY · Our Services
Full excavation and waterproof membrane application that stops water at the source — before it ever contacts your foundation wall. The most permanent waterproofing solution available for Westchester County homes.
Exterior waterproofing is the most comprehensive approach to foundation protection. By excavating around the perimeter of your home and applying a continuous waterproof membrane directly to the outside of the foundation wall, we stop water before it ever reaches the concrete or block. This eliminates the hydrostatic pressure that causes cracks, seepage, and long-term structural damage.
Exterior waterproofing is recommended when interior drainage systems have not fully resolved recurring leaks, when foundation cracks are actively growing, or when a home is being prepared for a finished basement renovation. It is also the preferred solution for White Plains, Scarsdale, and Ossining properties where hillside terrain or poor soil grading concentrates water against the foundation.
Many projects combine exterior waterproofing with French drain installation to manage both subsurface and surface water in a single mobilization.

Site Assessment & Permit Coordination
We evaluate your foundation perimeter, soil conditions, and drainage patterns. Where required, we coordinate permits with your local Westchester municipality before work begins.
Excavation
We excavate around the affected foundation perimeter down to the footing, exposing the full height of the foundation wall for inspection and treatment.
Wall Preparation & Crack Repair
The exposed foundation wall is cleaned, and any existing cracks are repaired with hydraulic cement or polyurethane injection before waterproofing materials are applied.
Waterproof Membrane Application
A rubberized asphalt or polymer-modified waterproofing membrane is applied to the full height of the exterior wall, creating a continuous water barrier from footing to grade.
Drainage Board & Gravel Installation
Dimple drainage board is installed over the membrane to protect it and channel water downward. A gravel bed at the footing directs water to a perimeter drain or away from the structure.
Backfill & Site Restoration
The excavation is backfilled with clean material, properly graded to direct surface water away from the foundation. Disturbed landscaping is restored as closely as possible.
